The Church in God's Eternal Plan, (Paperback)

The church, not Israel, encompasses the salvific work of God in the world today. Israel is still God's elect nation but is currently in a hiatus due to God's express purpose of building his church. The Lord will return to complete the promises he made to Abraham's descendants, but right now the church is center stage, and as such, she is taking part in his eternal plan and being prepared to meet her Lord. I have titled this book <i>The Church in God's Eternal Plan </i>because I want to address the topic of the uniqueness of the body of Christ, or to use a German term, the <i>Einzigartigkeit </i>of the church in the plans of God. It is imperative that every believer, every member of the body of Christ, understands God's wondrous miracle, the church, since we are part of it. I will discuss some of the church's practical purposes, but the focus will be on its theological distinctives.<br>
